Overview [ ]
Being a Basic Pokémon, Psycolt has overall low stats, with its highest being a measly 75 Special Attack with a usable Attack stat and decent but not stellar Speed. This does not mean that it is useless as only Psycolt can learn the Psychic-type moves of its evolutionary line as well as some other utility moves, like Recover. Its evolutions will only get the moves for their secondary types. Keeping it unevolved may seem like a detriment to a team, but once it has the moves for its evolution of choice, it can become a highly valued team member.
It is highly recommended to wait until Level 45, when Psycolt learns the highly desired Psychic, before evolving it.
